Active Transportation

Active transport is self-propelled movement undertaken as a means of transport and may at the same time be a form of recreation or fitness. Active transportation is emerging as the key way for our cities to become more green and livable. It is a way to keep fit, build community and reduce greenhouse gases.  However, in North America the automobile is king and to make cycling and walking safe and appealing the challenges are significant.

Development Planning – Representative Projects

Development planning requires the efforts of many individuals. Outlook’s role has been one of defining our client’s goals into a masterplan that is approvable in the regulatory sense, sound in terms of civil infrastructure layouts, financially attractive and containing the planning elements that will make the project a place of pride for those who live and work there. Development plans we have prepared range from small acreages to over 600 acres.

Campgrounds

Outlook design and construction services for Loveland Bay and Smelt Bay Provincial campgrounds.  We have also designed and oversaw construction of new group campgrounds such as at Driftwood Bay and Miracle Beach. We have done a number of private fully serviced campgrounds such as Seal Bay RV Park.
