Shoreline Restoration and Marine Systems – Representative Projects

Rip rap erosion protection is commonly used as a “one size fits all” solution. Though it is part of the toolset, we minimize installing rip rap except when it is clearly the best approach for the particular wave climate/exposure. Even in high energy shoreline environments we combine hard engineered systems with softer environmentally beneficial solutions such as the use of anchored logs and re‐vegetated slopes. Outlook takes considerable pride in the shoreline work we have done for it's role in enhancing the beauty and ecology of these environments.
