Construction Contract Administration

On larger and more complex projects it’s all about quality of the construction documents. However, there is more subtlety to preparing a set of documents then exhaustively specifying what is required. The documents need to suit the type of bidders who will be submitting tenders, the project’s geographic area, the Owner’s style and the type of expertise that is likely to be available. Outlook projects are not typically “cookie cutter”. Our response has been to use the MMCD Platinum Construction Documents wherever suitable. Unusual details of the construction are detailed in the drawings which is what workers on site tend to focus on. The goal is no surprises to anyone and a fair and equitable project that builds strong relationships into the future.
